Here at My Symphony Of Life we enjoy camping with our family, friends and our dogs. We have a pop up and I love it! As, in anything doing worthwhile it does take some work putting the pop up together. There’s nothing like sitting around a campfire, telling stories of a wonderful past moment, eating smores, where a moment in time is set for the true moment your in…. and make sure you have the bug spray! This post is all about what we need to do to stay organized when getting everything together for this weekend getaway! I’m listing 4 ways to stay organized.
Camping is so fun and exciting! However, it’s important that you stay organized!
1.Shopping List:
It’s important to stay on top of your shopping list. Stay focused! Don’t look away….their caught red handed …..the kids just put something a little extra in your cart! If it’s not the list don’t get it. Hey if it’s a well deserved item go ahead and given in. We all probably did the same thing to our parents at some point in life. Come on and admit it! We typically make sure that we keep our pantry stocked with the essentials!
2.Pack List:
Make sure to pack what is needed for the trip so that you can have an enjoyable time.
example:3 jeans, 2 shorts, 4 shirts, 2 bathing suits, 3 socks, 4 underwear, 2 hair scrunchies, toothpaste, deodorant, medications, and camera.
How many kids are you bringing? You will need to adjust your list to suit everyone who’s coming. example:games, movies, books, coloring books, paper, craft projects, ipod, laptop, cd’s and crayons.
Are you bringing pets? How many are going? If your pets are not going, do you have a friend/family/boarding you can turn to for help while your gone? You will need to adjust your list to suit who’s coming. example:kennels, dog food, treats, flea spray, dog bowls, pooper scooper, muzzles and leashes.
3.Task
Make a list of what you need to do. This will help you along when your getting ready. Stay focused! example:get ice, change oil in truck, pack clothes, clean truck, straighten up house, air up tires and load up dolly.
4.Delegate
If you have several people who can help you out….delegate your list to your spouse and kids. It helps get everything together in an orderly fashion. Everyone can help out in some way to speed up the process of your leave time.
All of these things listed will help you organize your trip and it’s a way for you to remember the essentials needed.
Did you check the weather? Do you need umbrella’s, sunscreen and or hats?
It’s better to be prepared if you need something than not be prepared at all for your trip. How do you prepare for your camping trip? What kind of camper do you have or do you have a tent? We have a pop up!
Please comment and share your idea’s.
Take care and Thank you for stopping by:
